I am looking for a compassionate, creative and skillful clinician to join my private practice on a part-time basis. You will develop clinical skills and build experience as a psychotherapist in a private practice model. My patient population includes individuals presenting with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, adjustment issues, and college-related concerns.
My treatment style includes a hybrid of interventions drawing from psychodynamic psychotherapy, positive psychology, and CBT.
To best serve my patients, your prior experience in a long-term clinical setting is recommended (experience with college-age and graduate students is preferred). In addition to competitive compensation, you will be provided with weekly supervision and case conferencing by an LCSW.
Required Education: LCSW, LMSW, PhD or PsyD; Appropriate licensure/clinical credentials.
Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years direct clinical experience treating patients in session.
Preferred Experience: Skills include treatment of alcohol and other drugs, eating disorders, risk assessments and suicide prevention.

Position Responsibilities:
- Provide longterm weekly individual psychotherapy for adolescent, emerging adults and adults
- Expected to maintain a caseload of approximately 6-8 patients/week (possibly more throughout the year)
- Maintain clinical documentation in a timely fashion
Education, Competencies and Credentials:
- Masters in related field including social work or psychology required
- Current license required by the state of NY
- Institute training or additional certifications encouraged
Compensation:
- Employees will be generously compensated on a fee-for-services basis
